A popular modification we have been doing to the KTM 450 SXF & XCF models is adding a 6th gear to the transmission. Many riders, including desert racers & snowbike riders, are looking for more top speed out of there 5-speed 450’s. This modification to the transmission, using all KTM genuine parts coupled with an REM Isotropic Treatment, gives them just what they are looking for!

For some customers, we have coupled the transmission modification with a simple but effective power up modification to the engines’ top end. A CNC cylinder head port job, surface machining, cam shaft modification & custom dyno tuning has been achieving over 10% gains in horsepower at the rear wheel, which is just what you need for pushing that new 6th gear or snow track – Ask about a Vortex ECU upgrade to get the most out of your new set up.

GDR Honda Team Update – Facciotti and Medaglia take 3 of the last 4 overalls!

Here is a quick update after completing rounds 8 and 9 of the Canadian Nationals which were both solid weekends for the team!

At round 8 Colton took his first overall of the season and followed that up this weekend with another overall win. Colt is now racing healthy and has won 5 of the last 8 motos and has closed the points gap up to 13 points with the final round this weekend in Walton Ontario.

Jeremy finished 2nd overall at round 8 and won his first overall of the season this weekend with 2-1 moto scores. Jeremy also moved himself into second place in the points standing for the 250 class.

Honda Canada GDR Team Update

Here is an update after the completion of rounds 6 and 7.

Jeremy Medaglia:

Jeremy had a solid day at Sand Del Lee for round 6 qualifying in second and finishing 3rd overall. This past weekend in Deschambault Jeremy once again qualified second. In moto 1 Jeremy unfortunately had a DNF while running second place due to an electrical failure, Jeremy rebounded in moto 2 with a poor gate pick and midpack start to finish 3rd at the end of the moto.

Colton Facciotti:

The last 2 races have been very solid for Colton despite injuring himself a few weeks ago and not being able to ride much during the week. For round 6 in Sand Del Lee Colton holes hotted moto 1 and built up a 25+ second lead by the finish. In Moto 2 Colt once again holes hotted and led a portion of the race before making a couple of bobbles and finishing in 4th for 3rd overall. This weekend in Deschambault Colton qualified second and started moto 1 in 3rd before working his way into the lead at the start of the last lap and winning the moto. In moto 2 Colt grabbed another holeshot and led to just past the 20 minute mark before cross rutting, colliding with Brett Metcalfe and crashing. It took some time for Colt to get back going before finishing in 5th place giving him another 3rd overall.

Our Red Rider Support team featuring Westen Wrozyna and Kyle Keast put in some solid races battling battling inside the top ten. Kyle is up to 8th place in points and Westen is sitting in 17th.
